This weekend myself and the girls went to the races to celebrate one of our besties birthdays (Happy bday Teresa)
I haven’t been racing for a long long time and it is always a really fun day out, and of course the perfect excuse to get dressed up and have fun with make up. Hurrah!
I pulled out the big guns for the day that was in it, so my make up would last the pace. I always bring make up in my handbag and never reapply so I left it all at home on the day bar lippie and concealer!

I had prepped my skin and had lots of setting powder on but by 7pm my foundation was patchy and didn’t last the course of the day. Luckily for me my pal Cat always has some make up and a quick trip to the bathroom and she had me sorted again. I love MAC face and body foundation but Studio fix is better for a full day and night. I used the translucent MAC setting powder but I don’t think it did the job. You will have seen from previous posts I LOVE Ben Nye powder and this will be my go to from now on. It just proves that sometimes the most popular brands may not be the best! 
Also my eyes have been swollen and sore from wearing lashes. I very rarely wear them for this reason and will be sticking to individuals from now on. I’m a right moaner today aren’t I? Fair play to girls who wear strip lashes all the time! 

We had a fab day out and even backed a winner.
