Christmas is just around the corner and silly season is well and truly under way. It’s the one time of year where we can really jazz up our make up routine with golds, bold lips and lashes galore. However, some people get to nervous experimenting or think they are doing the wrong thing. I always say make up is meant to be fun and can be wiped off easily so play away.
Below I have created two looks to get you through Christmas in a simple way. I have used two eye shadow brushes to keep it easy, my fingers for foundation and concealer, 1 blush brush for contour and blush and fingers again for highlighter. Simples!
Look 1- gold eye and nude lip
This is an easy look that anyone can create. If you are not confidence with shading I find gold is a great colour to apply all over the lid.Don’t forget to bring underneath along the lash line to create a finished look. This way you can skip eyeliner and it really makes he eyes pop.
I used half baked from my Naked palette all over eye lid and used a tiny bit of the shade smog in my crease line to add depth.
Lips- Mac in the shade Taupe
Black liner- Crown in black
Mascara- Crown in black
Brows- nada! Just a quick brush
Highlight on top of cheeks – Essence soo glow
Foundation- Mac Face and Body
Blusher- peach shade from my Inglor freedom palette and contour from AC on Tour
Look 2- copper eye
For this look I have the same base, blush and highlight. All eye make up is the same except I used a copper shade from my crown palette. I applied this all over the eye lid and then applied a dark brown from the same palette in my crease with the same brushes in the above picture.
Eyes- crown palette
Lips- Mac in the shade Hang up
There you have it! Hope you like these looks and if you are feeling brave just add some lashes!
