So you all saw the amount of make up I brought home with me at Christmas time, but while on honeymoon I wore very little make up. It was so relaxing and I really just didn’t feel like putting on a full face ever night.
Here were my essentials:
Cleanser- ASAP gentle cleanser
Exfoliation- ASAP exfoliating scrub (used once)
Sunscreen- had a few on the go
Garner bb cream- I used this as a light foundation every night
Artdecco camouflage concealer- I used this under my eyes and on areas where I have stared to get Melasma!!! I will do a separate post on this! It’s basically a very stubborn type of pigment that is near impossible to remove and stains the skin. It only started on holiday
Naked palette- half baked on eyelids
Benefit They’re Real mascara
Bourjois rouge edition velvet in the shade frambourjosie
Barry M get up and glow palette- blusher and bronzer used
This was enough to cover pigmentation, add a glow and brighten my eyes.
Sometimes it’s great to let your skin breath. Apparently one of the biggest trends for 2016 is minimal make up with a soft glow! Can’t wait for more relaxed looks this season. It’s always fun to get dolled up but sometimes it’s refreshing to see fresh skin.
This basic routine can be applied to any situation.
