Spring is in the air and that means two things in Sydney: Sun and racing!
Racing season has started and love it or hate it, there will be lots of advertising for race dresses and that means one thing for me, make up looks. Yeow! So this post is going to be solely dedicated to three looks you could try with examples of products. If you have a special occasion like a wedding, this will cover you too.
Neutral:
You will know from some of my previous posts that I am a big fan of a natural look with fresh skin. This can be teamed with any outfit but looks beautiful with pastel shades such as lavender, soft pinks and neutral colours.
Classic red lip:
If ever in doubt put on some red lippie and pout! This will always get you through. The key here is to keep the rest of the face fairly simple – natural eyes, lashings of mascara and some blush, highlight and bronzer. If you’re not a lover of deep reds, try an orange shade for a similar effect.
Go hard or go home:
I’ve created this name for all the girls that want a bit of everything! It’s one day to pull out all the stops and go crazy with your make up. If you are attempting this look try to keep your dress free of bold prints (or opt for a smaller print). You can’t do everything now can you. A bold print and full on make up can sometimes be too much. This look requires an overdone eye with lashes and a bright lip.
All of these looks can be created with high street products or high-end. My pictures have a mixture to suit all budgets and has some pharmacy products mixed with a few high-end bits and bobs.
