So I’ve been using a lot of Rimmel lip products lately and it’s about time to share my thoughts. I like to try to mix it up with my lip colour but more often then not I get very lazy and grab a gloss and go.
Recently I have been trying a few different lippies from Rimmel and I have to say I am pretty impressed. I have been reading great reviews from other bloggers but here is my honest opinion on the products. I’m keeping the best until last.
PROVOCALIPS 16HR KISSPROOF LIP COLOUR
I really wanted to fall in love with this. It comes in 8 amazing shades, something to suit everyone but it didn’t work for me. It goes on like a gloss and ten after 1 minute you apply a top coat that feels like a balm to seal it in. It lasts all night long and will not budge but for me my lips became very dry and started to flake. It is advertised as kiss proof and food proof (I agree) but it also states that lips will be moisturised all day but I can’t agree. I do have dry lips naturally so it just is not a good choice for me. I tried the shade Dare to pink and it is a beautiful.

LASTING FINISH MATTE BY KATE MOSS
If you want strong pigment, long lasting power and a super matte finish then look no further. I cannot fault this product and it is available in 9 shades. I have no 106 and it is a very bright fuscia pink. This look requires minimal eye make up and adds a great pop of colour. I also think this has similar lasting power to MAC lipsticks and is a fraction of the price.

APOCALIPS LIP LACQUER
This is my winner. I have been wearing the shade Nova (another pink shade) and what I love is it can be worn day or night.
This is hydrating, tastes and smells like watermelon and the colour is great. It comes in 12 shades and what sells it for me is the application wand. I will be stocking up on other shades for sure
